TKK Joinery Kryštof Kratochvíl
 TKK Joinery was founded in 1991 in confined rented premises and it achieved its first success with fully custom-made manufacturing of individual pieces of furniture. Soon the Joinery proved its competence to work in challenging environment of historic towns in Southern Bohemia/Czech Republic. It delivered period equipment made-to-measure for shops and salesrooms situated in vaulted rooms and in other unusual spaces. Since 1995 the company has possessed its own workshop in the center of České Budějovice.
TKK Joinery is a reliable supplier of quality and exacting specialized orders. Distinctive design, first-rate surface finish and creatively elaborated details of every single piece of furniture are some of the outstanding elements of our work thanks to those the company won recognition in the market.
 TKK takes successfully advantage of its experience gained up to now in challenging work in historical environment of South Bohemian towns. The company has also experience in manufacturing of furniture from quality solid - wood as well as in projecting and realization of furniture from veneered plywood both for comercial and residential use. Thanks to quality and modern machinery and skills of our team of workers the company is able to meet almost any kind of wish the customer might have.
TKK
also makes replicas of windows and doors for historical and reconstructed buildings, including sliding and draw-out windows and doors. We use the latest type of mounting and first-rate glazes and paints and we still manage to conserve the historical look of the buildings.
After having experienced the production of classical windows, TKK Joinery began to produce wooden windows made from laminated prisms," Euro windows". For manufacturing of these windows we bought the most modern tools made by Leitz company. Precise work is not just a machine process, as it is in big factories, but also a careful and skilled craftsmanship. We put emphasis especialy on finishing works on the products, including surface adjustment.
The production of windows is connected with the production of entrance doors. Our quality windows and doors could be placed in modern lately erected buildings as well as in historical reconstructed buildings.
TKK collaborates with the artist Růžena Kratochvílová. Her interior designs can be characterized by a typically feminine mildness, sense for harmonic beauty and colour feeling. In addition, she creatively combines wood with other materials. However, she is not good only in designing, she also shows her expert knowledge and skills in restoration and repairs of antique furniture and artworks, which is another field of activity of our company.
Solitaire furniture, designed and made according to our own projects is regularly exposed in "Kaplanka" galery in Český Krumlov, where the artist Růžena Kratochvílová also exhibits her paintings and sculptures.
